Point Sails is proud to offer our new line of Custom Cruise Laminate sails.
These sails are a membrane design using crosscut panels. They are custom
designed offering string loading technology in a durable taffeta backed laminate
fabric.
Pentex or Vectran fibers can be selected depending on size and application.
Pentex is 2 ½ times the stretch resistance of polyester. Vectran exceeds Kevlar
in stretch resistance. Both fibers have excellent flex resistance suitable for
cruising sails.
Sails come with oversized custom strung patches.
